
Leona Louise Lewis, born 3 April 1985, is an actress an activist, singer and actress from Britain. She was born and raised in the London Borough Of Islington she was educated at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, Croydon. Lewis achieved national recognition when she won the third season of The X Factor in 2006, winning a PS1 million recording deal in partnership with Syco Music. The lead track "Bleeding Love" was a hit for seven weeks at high on the UK charts, was also the single that was most popular in 2007. It also was the biggest-selling track in the US that year. Lewis won the Billboard Best New Artist Award the following year. She released Echo in 2009 and created "I Love You" which was the film's title track. Lewis's hit single "Collide", was an collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii and she also released Hurt the EP. It was her first play that was extended. Glassheart (2012) came out as Lewis the release of her third studio album. It was an innovative new style. Lewis draws inspiration from electronic and dubstep music. The Glassheart Tour was in the middle of 2013, when she started recording material for her debut Christmas album. In the following year, Christmas with Love with Love, featuring the lead single "One more night" was ranked third within the UK. The chart's entry was what made Lewis her the only British woman solo artist in the top five, with eight singles. The singer also broke Olivia Newton-John's seven record.
