Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actor best known for the role of Missandei in HBO's epic adventure "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel, who was born in and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's famous seaside town she has always had a keen interest in performing. Nathalie's mother took note and began enrolling her in dance, sing and acting classes when she was just 3 years old. Emmanuel was a talented performer who developed rapidly. By the end of the 90s she was a an infant Nala in "The Lion King,"" which was a West End musical that was a huge success. Emmanuel auditioned for roles in the film industry and on television while she was still a teenager. Her breakthrough came in 2007, when she got cast as Sasha Valentine, a British soap opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95--). Emmanuel was Sasha Valentine's character for four years before leaving Hollyoaks in 2010. Emmanuel received her biggest breakthrough on HBO "Game of Thrones" the following year, as Missandei. In this role, she will be the voice of Daenerys' Targaryen role (portrayed by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel was to appear in each subsequent episode of "Game of Thrones" up to the season's finale in May of 2019.
